A grand Tibetan epic musical titled "Princess Wencheng" was staged at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing, China's most prominent arts center, Oct 10, 2012.
The greatest innovation to the musical includes the subversion of the old mode, adherence to the philosophy of 'mountain, water, people' and the portray of the most loved and revered Princess Wencheng from the perspective of the Tibetan people.
The musical is also highlighted with the original Tibetan music elements and artistic techniques.
