Tibet keeps up with Asia's development: Boao Forum

Though Tibet Autonomous Region located in the westmost of China and Hainan Province at the southernmost tip of China are far apart, they share one root and one motherland -- China. On April 5, one day prior to the opening of the Boao Forum for Asian Annual Conference 2013, a group of seven reporters from the China Tibet Online arrived at the venue of the conference-Boao, a small town in Qionghai County of south China's Hainan Province, in the hope of bringing information about Tibet's development to the forum and reporting latest development trends in Asia in order to integrate Tibet into the overall development of Asia.

In the upcoming conference, the reporters will have interviews with political figures, entrepreneurs, academians and delegates, who are expected to present their impressions of Tibet as well as its leapfrog development over the past 60 some years. The Boao Forum for Asia, or BFA, will be held from April the 6th to the 8th. The theme of this year's meeting is, "Asia Seeking Development for All: Restructuring, Responsibility and Cooperation."

More than 10 heads of state from Asia and other regions have been invited to the event. Another 1,400 delegates, including over 1,200 business people, are also expected to be in attendance. Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the forum, source from cntv.net.

As a non-government, non-profit international organization, Boao Forum For Asia (BFA) is the most prestigious and premier forum for leaders in government, business and academia in Asia and other continents to share visions on the most pressing issues in this dynamic region and the world at large. The Forum is committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries even closer to their development goals.
