
Tibet plans an overall sowing area of 3.69 million mu (about 25 hectares) with 2.4 million mu grain (about 16 hectares), said Dolma, deputy chief of crop-planting section, Agriculture and Husbandry Department of Tibet Autonomous Region.
The East of the region is ready to be engaged in the spring ploughing. Local agricultural sectors are currently working closely to provide seed and fertilizer supplies.
