Livestock products boost Tibet's economy

Enjoying 1.216 billion acres of natural grassland, Tibet is one of the five largest grasslands in China, taking up 12 percent of the total natural grasslands in the country. Livestock products, on which local people live o n, are not only Tibet's main export products but also major raw material for textile, ethnic industries and processing industries, playing an important role in the local economy.
