A Geshe Lharampa degree represents the highest academic degree for the Gelugba School of Tibetan Buddhism. It will be conferred on those monks who finished Buddhism study and won the Buddhist scripture debating. Up to now, another 22 monks have got this degree since the resume of this Tibetan Buddhism academic exam in 2005. Source:China Tibet Information Center
