Sino-Nepal Highway

Sino-Nepal Highway starts from Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, through Chusu, Shigatse, Lhaze, Dingri, Nielamu and Zhungmu, along the Friendship Bridge, ends at the defense highway of Katmandu, capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. It was completed and opens to traffic in 1965. It has 702 kilometers in China. Since 1986, 370 million Yuan was invested in construction and reconstruction of the Chusu-Shigagse, Shigatse Liuzhong section and seven dangerous bridges including Giting, Sakya and Chushar, and the 304 kilometers line has been laid with bitumen pavement. Sightseeing can be conducted along the Sino-Nepal Highway, and the world No 1 summit Mt. Everest is worth mentioning. Sino-Nepal Highway is Tibet's sole outbound highway leading to overseas and is an important thoroughfare of Tibet foreign exchange. It plays a major part in promoting the friendly visits between Chinese and Nepalese peoples, enhancing economic, trade and cultural exchanges between the tow countries, spearheading economic and social development of Tibet, and consolidating frontier defense.

Lhasa to Qushui, 68 kilometers with a price of 10 RMB Lhasa to Nimu, 83 kilometers with a price of 20 RMB Lhasa to Renbu, 126 kilometers with a price of 27 RMB Lhasa to Xigaze, 280 kilometers with a price of 40 RMB Lhasa to Latse, 437 kilometers with a price of 70 RMB Lhasa to Tingri, 572 kilometers with a price of 88 RMB Lhasa to Shelamu, 724 kilometers with a price of 109 RMB Lhasa to Zhammu, 754 kilometers with a price of 113 RMB Lhasa to Gyantse, 264 kilometers with a price of 38 RMB Lhasa to Yadong, 473 kilometers with a price of 66 RMB
