Tibetans in Kesum enjoy happy life since end of serfdom system

Local villagers celebrate to mark the 50th anniversary of the emancipation of millions of serfs and slaves in old Tibet at Kesum village of Nedong County, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, March 23, 2009. Since the end of the feudal serfdom system in Tibet in the year of 1959, Kesum village has witnessed great changes with the increase of income and grain production.
