The village was ruled by a serf owner called Suokang Wangchen Geli who exploited villagers before 1959. However, since the reform, the villagers have been living a better life. Nowadays, the local people enjoy spacious houses, clean roads, various commodities and nice environment.
Though simple, the exhibition gallery tells the village history in the past decades and it reminds offspring of the village that history should be remembered.
