Tibet Exhibition prolonged to April 30

Due to requests from all circles of society, the organizer of "the large-scale 50th Anniversary of Democratic Reforms in Tibet Exhibition" has decided to postpone the closing date to April 30. This is from the original date of April 10 giving more people the opportunity to visit the exhibition.

Since it formally opened on February 24, "the large-scale 50th Anniversary of Democratic Reforms in Tibet Exhibition" has had enthusiastic visitors, has been well received and for many consecutive days has had visitors exceeding 10,000. By April 6, a cumulative 240,000 visitors had attended the exhibition, leaving over 4,000 messages.

"The large-scale 50th Anniversary of Democratic Reforms in Tibet Exhibition" is jointly sponsored by organizations such as the State Council Information Office. The exhibition leaves a profound impression on visitors through its plethora of historical materials, rich pictures, detailed data and lively scene designs. Many visitors expressed that the exhibition has helped them better understand the historical ownership of Tibet, the cruelty and darkness of feudal serfdom of old Tibet under theocratic rule, the great achievements in the 50 years following Democratic Reform in Tibet as well as the true appearance of the Dalai Clique.
