Cooperative medical care services benefit Drung people in Yunnan
10:32, May 30, 2009

The Drung ethnic group has a population of 6,000, most of whom live in Dulongjiang Town, Gongshan Drung and Nu Autonomous County, which borders on Yunnan and Tibet. The town is hardly accessible due to high mountains and steep slopes and is snow-capped for almost half a year annually. In recent years, the town has been vigorously carrying out new rural cooperative medical care work, with almost all of the Drung people enjoying the services.
