Tibet builds 18 pest warning and control stations

Till now, Tibet Autonomous Region has built a total of 18 pest warning and control stations to watch closely over agricultural pests, according to the regional agriculture and animal husbandry department.

So far, half of the stations distributed in Lhoka, Ngari, Chamdo and other prefectures have been put into operation.

As one of the 188 key projects under the 11th Five-Year plan, the pest warning and control stations have all been installed with high-tech equipment, which are used to monitor data for pest prevention and control.
