
At least one seat will be given in the deputy quotas to the least populated areas inhabited by minority nationalities in the next National People’s Congress according to China’s newly amended Electoral Law, said a spokesman at the press conference of the ongoing Fifth Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's legislative body in Beijing on Mar. 4, 2012.
